Here we are on the third screen. This screen contains mainly social networking apps and a few apps to find other apps. Again, this is the same scenario as the second screen. I try to keep my most used apps closer to the first screen. Let’s dive in…
MySpace (free) is used to keep in touch with Army friends and other friends from Texas. It allows you to see what they’re doing and post bulletins, pictures, etc. TweetDeck (free) is a neat little app to track multiple Twitter accounts and see what is going on in your stream. It has a really cool user interface. I also use the desktop version which is just as cool. Twitterific (free) is also used to track Twitter feeds. When I start the app, it makes a cute little ‘chirp’ which causes me to jump. LOL. FML (free) is an app based on FML. Very funny stuff….some really crappy too. FaceBook (free) is used to track things on FaceBook. You can post pictures from the app also. LinkedIn (free) is used by my husband to track his LinkedIn account. He seems to like it. Tumblr (free) is used for Tumblr. I am still trying to figure out how to set up my Tumblr account online so I haven’t had a chance to use this app. But it is on my iPhone so I must list it. WordPress (free) is very useful to post to your WP site. It makes it easy to throw in a quick post of something crazy you seen while away from your Mac. LOL. Mashable (free) is used to see the daily tips and blogs that are on mashable.com and they also list their Twitter timeline in the app as well. Google (free) has the Google apps that goes into Safari for one to use. I wish they would follow suit with the other apps and have the apps open from within itself instead of using Safari. Google Earth (free) is used if I’m really bored and want to see different places with the ’tilt’ function. Inquisitor (free) is an app I use as an alternative to Safari. It is basically a search engine and it saves your latest searches along with lists the news for the topic you are searching. It also places a check mark next to an item you have already seen. MProfs (free) is full of marketing tips. It has a variety of topics to choose from. BargainBin (free) is an app that I check almost daily to see what apps go on sale. It has a cool user interface and gives star ratings and descriptions. AppSniper ($0.99) is like the BargainBin except it lists new apps that have just came out. I also check this app out almost every day. PandoraBox (free) is the app that I definitely go to first for the new and on sale apps. You can also add an app to your favorite list so that you can decide to snatch it at a later time. When you have better signal. As you can see, I’m an app junkie. ;-)
Hopefully this post helps those who are interested in any of the listed apps decide if they want to download or not. As usual, I will eventually have a nice list of app reviews for you to view. Thank you so much for reading this! Enjoy LIFE!
