For the last two weeks of April (4-16-11 through 4-30-11), I found 25+ unique and amazing desktop screenshots with users utilizing applications like GeekTool, Bowtie, Mirage, DragThing, DateLine, Adium, Ecoute (which is an iTunes alternative), among other utilities. They also personalized their desktops with their own styles of wallpapers, typography, docks, icons, folders, etc. Check out what I found interesting:

As you can see, there are many different, creative ways to make your own masterpiece. Using the right tools along with imagination really can go a long way. Feel free to check out ~appleviews on deviantART where I constantly find a variety of useful tools (icons, docks, wallpapers, etc.). Remember to share your desktop with us on the APPLEVIEWS Flickr Group here (let me see what you got – smile) and don’t forget to share this article with others. Got something to say? Leave your feedback in the comments and share the wealth. I’d like to know which of these screenshots are your favorites.

I have an iMac screenshot with the Windows BSOD. I’s like to contribute it, but I don;t see any way to do that.
